I am an Audiologist and have been hard of hearing since childhood. Audiologists are supposed to be the experts on hearing loss. However, I have learned SOOO much from this group. I try to give my patients good information that it seems they need/want when I see them, but I can never share everything in the time I have with them for their appointments. This group is a great place to go for support and a feeling that other people out there understand your hearing difficulties.
