Join St. Louis HLAA Chapter

We encourage you to find community and support by joining the local chapter.  We have informative meetings on various hearing loss related topics, such as the latest technology or research on hearing loss. Meetings are open to spouses, friends and family.  Become a member of HLAA today to receive a monthly newsletter , discounts on assistive technology products and hearing aid batteries, attend meetings, and get connected to a multitude of resources!

  • Learn about impending legislation that impacts people with hearing loss.
  • Learn new communication strategies for work, family and social settings.
  • Socialization with others who live with a hearing loss, trying our restaurants, attending movies, ball games, or other public venues.
  • Learn about communication access at movies, theaters or other live events.


Annual chapter dues are $20 for individual or $25 for family (up to four family members per household). A member receives Chapter Newsletters eleven times a year. You may pay dues by including a check with your form or using Paypal.

HLAA-Greater St. Louis chapter meets monthly except January and August. Our meetings are on the Second Saturday of each month at 1:00 pm. During our meetings, we host speakers, panels and open discussions. Topics have included::

  • hearing aids
  • cochlear implants
  • captioning
  • assistive listening devices
  • hearing in public places
  • communication with family members
  • coping strategies for hard of hearing in the work place
